Funk Knuf is a powerhouse of groove, led by the dynamic Geno Treppeda on drums (of BiG BaNG! fame). With Beth Avedis commanding the stage, her electrifying vocals and magnetic presence pull you in and keep you dancing all night long. The brass brings the fire, with a monster horn section featuring John Battista on tenor sax, Dave McLoughlin on trumpet, and Doug Carmichael on alto, bari sax, and flute—together, they deliver pure sonic energy. The rhythm section is a groove machine, driven by Rich Benge’s soulful guitar, Mark DeVere keys, Bill Capsalis laying down the bass lines, and Tudie Calderon adding flavor with auxiliary percussion.
